Before you buy any service, it’s important for you to consider if the service provider seems reliable and suitable for you.
I can’t give any guarantees about the managed hosting and domain companies listed on this site, as I haven’t used most of them. Please do research a company’s background before you use their services.
Also, as stated on this site’s about page, I don’t have any connection to any providers.
Before you use a managed hosting company, ask them about database exports!
One very important thing to ask any managed hosting provider before you sign up is whether you can export your database if you decide to move to a different hosting company. This is important because the database lets you move your site to a different host seamlessly without breaking any of it.
You don’t need to be techy, if you do ever move to a different managed hosting company they will be able to upload the database for you. But you need to be able to give them a copy of the database from the previous hosting company in order for them to do that.
If a managed hosting company makes it easy for you to leave them, this is a really good sign that the managed hosting company is serious about providing you with a good service. It shows that they want to make the service so good that you won’t want to leave.
